Scot A. Clark

Scot, born February 28, 1969 unexpectedly passed on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Born in Hammond, IN Scot spent his life in the region, residing in Griffith, IN with his loving wife of twelve years and adult children. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Shirley (Wymer) Clark and grandparents Carl and Doris Wymer. 

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Kathleen (Alonzo) Clark, daughter Kelsie Alonzo (Tyler Burke) of Griffith, son Michael Alonzo (Lauren Kovacic) of Griffith, in-laws Albert and Barbara Alonzo of Highland, sister Tresa (Steve) Weidner of Hammond, sister Kelly Clark of Hammond, brother-in-law Phillip (Joanne) Alonzo of Channahon IL, sister-in-law Linda Alonzo of Fruitland Park, FL, and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved nieces and nephews. 

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Hillside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN, 46322 with services concluding. 

Scot was a member of  Operating Engineers Local 150 employed by WATCO Company as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Griffith Izaak Walton. He enjoyed fishing and going to the shooting range with his dear friend, Brett Coglianese and visiting with his longtime friend Dave Conder sharing stories of the good old days. Scot also enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially setting up bonfires in the backyard. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to LakeShore PAWS 4611 Evans Ave Valparaiso, IN 46383. This is the organization that Makenna was rescued from, or as Scot would call her, "baby girl".
