It is always difficult to say goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Shannon Marie Raschke of Hammond, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at 8:32 pm. She was in the presence of her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Raschke, the father of her children Michael Raschke. Her children, Shawn Stephenson, Tyler Raschke, his wife Carley Raschke, and Krista Raschke. Her stepson, James Raschke and his wife Kelsie Raschke. Her grandchildren Owen, Dylon, Corbin, Adelynne, Jaxson, Sawyer, Roman, and Aliyah. Her brother Tim Stephenson. Her cousins, Jerry King, Michael O’reily, and many others. As well as loved ones who were like family.
Shannon is preceded in death by her parents Jovenina Antoinette Hollars (Toni), Clyde Hollars, Dacy Stephenson (Steve). She has a playdate scheduled with her son Nichalos Alexander Raschke, and her granddaughter, Jocelynne Shamay Raschke.
Shannon was the family planner, loved trying to make family gatherings the best she could. Made miracles happen around the holidays even through the struggles of her own. She had a deep love for decorating for holidays, especially Christmas, but Halloween was definitely her favorite. Every morning, she looked forward to making her cup of coffee and seeing her grandson Sawyer. Shannon loved being in her garden, and she was amazing at it. Her love for Jesus planted seeds in everyone's heart. The strength and dedication she had for her family are comparable to her love for Jesus. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.
It is with great sadness that she moved on to be with Jesus. Her viewing and services will be on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) in Highland, Indiana, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We hope to celebrate her life on earth with those who loved and cared for Shannon and her family.
