Obituary
Sharon Boedeker, 59, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She is survived by her former husband Larry Boedeker, children Elizabeth (Richard) Heim and Daniel (MiLinda) Boedeker, granddaughter Kathryn, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends she called family. Preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Louise Hullinger, her brother Clifford Hullinger, and her brothers by marriage Donald and James Boedeker.
If you ask anyone, people will tell you there was nobody nicer than Sharon. To meet her was to love her. Sharon did everything that she could to take care of the people around her, a quality that made her a fine nurse and later a nursing director. As a nurse in geriatrics for over 20 years, Sharon fostered many relationships with coworkers, residents, and their families. She loved to craft and often made beautiful things just to give away and make others happy.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm.
