Sharon (nee Jackson) Miller, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her home in Griffith, IN, with her devoted daughter by her side. Her departure was gentle, surrounded by love—just as she lived her life.
Sharon leaves behind her cherished daughter, Kim Miller; her loyal grand-dog and constant cuddle companion, Bentley; and many dear friends who held her close to their hearts, especially Chuck Gregory and his family, who loved her like their own.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Bob Miller; her parents, RC and Billie Jackson; and her brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Jackson.
Born on June 10, 1943, in Hammond, IN, Sharon grew into a woman whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. On May 27, 1960, she married the love of her life, Bob—a partnership defined by unwavering devotion, unity, and joy. Their greatest blessing arrived on February 16, 1967, when their daughter Kim was born, completing their family and filling their home with laughter and love.
For 64 beautiful years, Sharon and Bob created a tapestry of cherished moments—simple joys, shared adventures, and a love story that truly lived up to “happily ever after.” Their bond was a testament to commitment, tenderness, and the kind of love that lasts beyond a lifetime.
Sharon found happiness in life’s sweetest comforts—an ice-cold can of Pepsi, Taco Tuesdays surrounded by loved ones, and quiet evenings spent snuggled up with Bentley. These small pleasures reflected her big heart and her ability to find joy in every day.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and faithful friend. Sharon had a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and a way of making others feel seen and loved. Her absence will be deeply felt, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in all who were blessed to know her.
