Susan Moore Obituary

Susan Moore, 75, passed away Thursday, November 16th, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Laura Jones, sons Charles (Jennifer) and Mark Moore, grandchildren Kameryn, Kayley, and Carter, her sister, Jenny Holbrook, nieces Elizabeth and Amy, nephew Robert and her cat, Socks. Preceded in death by her husband Daniel Moore and her parents Harry and Marjorie Gebel.

Susan was a wonderful mother, friend, and proud homemaker. She had many artistic talents, which included making handwoven baskets and wreaths. Everyone loved her homemade fudge, hard candy lollipops, and caramel apples. She also enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and the artistic talents of Barry Manilow and Barry Gibb.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana in late December. Those wishing to honor Susan can make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
