Suzanne Eberhardt

Suzanne Eberhardt, age 75, of Munster, In., passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022. She is survived by her son Stephen (Cari) Eberhardt, daughter Elizabeth (Anthony Sr.) Mako, sisters Sharon (Alan) Hughes, JoAnne McCann, Patricia McCann, Grand-children Krystal Eberhardt, William Eberhardt, Michelle Johnson, Anthony Mako Jr, Ashley Mako, Thomas Mako and great grand-child River Johnson. Preceding her in death are beloved husband Joseph Eberhardt, her parents Mary Frances and James McCann, daughter Rebecca Eberhardt, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and John Backus.

For many years, Sue was a teacher and librarian for School District 149. She had a passion for reading and teaching children to have a love for books. Her family was the center of her world. She was loved and respected by everyone she met and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN. 46322 on August 3, 2022 from 3pm-7pm. The funeral service will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, 11875 Archer Ave., Lemont, Illinois, 60439 on August 4, 2022 at 10am. Due to the distance from the funeral home to the cemetery, there will not be a procession, only meeting individually at the cemetery at 10am.
