Tabitha Alexandra Piekarczyk

Tabitha Piekarczyk was born April 18, 1994 in Chicago, Il. She graduated from Morton High School 2012. Her interests were theater, singing, and cheerleading. “Tabby” was a radiant and beautiful young woman who was called home at the tender age of 31. Though her time with us was far too short, her life was filled with love, laughter, and selfless devotion. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother whose greatest joy was her family. Her children were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into ensuring they always felt cherished and cared for. She worked tirelessly, balancing the responsibilities of a hardworking professional with the warmth and dedication of a nurturing mother and wife. Known for her generous heart, she never hesitated to help anyone in need. To know her was to feel her kindness, her loyalty, and her unwavering love. She had a smile that could brighten any room and a spirit that uplifted all who crossed her path. Though we grieve deeply, we also celebrate the legacy of love and strength she leaves behind. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Armida Barham “Neicey” and her dear sister, Torrie Norman.

She leaves to cherish her devoted husband, Jeff Piekarczyk, her son Damon and daughter Marley, her father Jerome Barham, Sr. loving brothers: James Thigpen, Reggie Thigpen, Jerome Barham, Jr., Jodie (Tawana) Barham and Raymon Norman, sisters: Teebra Thigpan, Tangie Norman, Tashiba Barham, Tavia Norman, and Tiffany Barham. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Though absent from the body, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 29th, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 at 10:00 am at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery 2305 W 73rd Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410.
