Terrance “ Chubby” Moore, age 45, of Gary, Indiana passed away and transitioned to his Eternal life in Heaven on January 3rd 2026. He was born on October 10th 1980 in Gary Indiana.
He is survived by his loving, devoted and caring spouse Melodee, of 16years. Father of beautiful children, Austin(age27), Taylor(age25), Tawny(age20), Cameron(age14), Christian(age9) and Charlotte(age3). Grandfather of Amaya(age4) and Mason (Age2). His Mother Irene Guzman and Stepfather Jerry Robertson. His Loving siblings, Sister Tina Moore, Brother Stephen Guzman, Brother Dustin Guzman and Sister Tori Robertson. MIL Christina and FIL Omar Rodriguez, Sibling-in-Law Omar Rodriguez JR. Along with many Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Family Friends.
He was proceeded in death by his Grandmother Dawn, Daughter Audree, Sister Chrissy, Brother Darrel, Uncle Stanley and Cousin Billy.
Chubby's personality was shy until he got to know you then he was outgoing, funny, and could always make anyone laugh everywhere he went, just the light of the room. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending Faith Church Highland, eating good food, listening to music, watching action movies, being outdoors, riding his mini bike, traveling new places and fixing his vehicles custom to his taste.
During his life he had loved being a Tow Truck driver at Debo's Towing where he would refer to himself as “Tow King” and he always was a light to those he helped and had a passion for rescuing people in their time of need. He always looked up his Brother in Law's Miguel (Mikey) and Roberto (Debo) the owners.
Over the last 5 1⁄2 years Chubby had been battling End Stage Renal-Disease and had been on dialysis treatments, due to this he had developed many other critical health complications during his fight that led to God's mercy sending relief to his suffering while being treated at the University of Chicago Medicine.
He leaves behind a loving family whom have faith in God that we will see him again in heaven. We will miss the good times with him, his charming smile and his beautiful green eyes, Chubby will be dearly missed by many and remembered with love.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 2:00-5:00pm at Faith Church 8910 Grace Street Highland, IN.
Funeral Service to begin at 5:00pm at the church.
