Terry Farrar age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
He is survived by his two sons Guy and Billy Farrar; three grandchildren Lyndsey, Zack, and Ariel, and two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Clare.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years Sharie Farrar.
Terry was born October 28, 1950 in Hammond, IN. He married the love of his life Sharie Cooper in January of 1968. He was a proud member of the Black Oak Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of the painters union and then later went on to become a professional truck driver.
In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He took a motorcycle trip with his friends to Canada in his 20s. Prior to retiring you could always find him working on his truck smelling like oil. In his later years he enjoyed drinking coffee with every meal, Saturday night fires, fishing with grandkids, and driving everyone around on his golf cart. He also restored his 1956 Chevy Bel Air with his son and grandson and began going to every car show around and collecting his trophies.
Terry was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by many.
