Theresa Eleanor (Bystrzycki) Kendra

Theresa "Terri" Kendra, 81, of Lynwood, IL, born on November 19, 1943 in Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on June 17, 2025. Loving mother to John L. Kendra III, Connie Addyman (Pat), Michelle Kendra (Rob), and Desiree Chapleau (David). Beloved daughter of Edwin and Ginger Bystrzycki. Caring big sister to Thomas Bystrzycki, Donna Evans and Denise Bystrzycki. Devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Second mother and friend to all who knew her. Dear ex-wife to the loving father of her children, John L. Kendra Jr.

Terri proudly served as a top real estate agent, broker, respected manager/owner, and motivational speaker. Terri was the heart of the Kendra family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and loved ones. We will always love you mom, "As high as the sky, as far as the stars, as wide as the ocean and as big as our hearts!".

A Celebration of Terri's life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
