Thomas W. Davis Jr.

Thomas (Tom) W. Davis Jr. age 59 of Crown Point, IN sadly left our world on June 21, 2025.

He is survived by his children, Kyle (Julie) Davis, Alexis Davis and Jacob Davis; grandchildren, Riley Washington, Gage Johnson, Marlie Johnson, Nolan Davis and Colton Davis; siblings, Joyce (Scott) Binger and Sandra Barks; numerous nieces, nephews and former spouse, Brenda Robinson.

Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Sr. and May Davis; sister, Felicia Davis and nephew, Stephen K. Barks. Thomas was born June 12, 1966 in Evergreen Park, IL and was a 1984 graduate of Argo Community High School in Summit, IL. Tom pursued a career with the Local 597 Pipefitters Union. In addition to being a Local 597 member for 40 years, Tom was an educator at ETI school of skilled trades and Hammond High School. He had a love for teaching and was highly respected by his students and colleagues. Tom also was a certified welding inspector and instructor as well as an entrepreneur.

His love for the mountains of East Tennessee took him and his family there each year to create lifelong memories for his children and grandchildren.

Tom also developed a love for gourmet cooking and got much joy watching his family enjoying a new creation.

Most of all, Tom's greatest love of all was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Tom will be truly missed by all of the lives he touched.

A Mass for Thomas Davis will be on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 605 State Street Lemont, IL 60439.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Lockport Moose Lodge 118 E. 10th Street Lockport, IL 60441 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
