Thomas C. Hickey

Thomas C. Hickey, 80, of Griffith, IN, passed away on February 3, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1939 in Hickory, North Carolina to the late Thomas and Helen Hickey. He preached the gospel for 65 years. He was a minister for the Maple City Church of Christ and a devout student of the Bible.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lewis Hickey, and granddaughter Samantha Hickey. Surviving are his wife of 61 years Bernice Hickey, children Kent (Michelle) Hickey, Paul Hickey, and Susan (Jim) Graff, grandchildren Dayna Sykes, Mitch Sigler, Matthew Hickey, Michael Hickey, Kristopher Hickey, Allyson Graff, Ashlynn Hickey, and Abigail Hickey, five great-grandchildren, and sister Carolyn Gallihar. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family Friday, February 7, 2020 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service to be held at the funeral home Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 9:30 am with Jon Quinn officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens to follow.
