Thomas "Felix" Cramer Obituary
Thomas “Felix” Stephen Cramer passed away peacefully on Thursdays, September 18th, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie (Larose) Cramer; children, Mary Jane and Samuel; sister, Mary Alice (Cramer) Contreras; and pet bird, Steward. He is preceded in death by parents, William and Mary Beth Cramer.
Thomas was born on June 2nd, 1965, in Pontiac, MI. He graduated from Lake Orion high school in 1983, and went on to become a carpenter, specializing in hardwood floors, then a pipe fitter with local 597. He was a member of the Freemasons and achieved the level of Master Mason.
Thomas and Valerie were married on June 17th, 2011. Together they raised their two children in Joliet, IL, before finally settling in Gary, IN. He enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles, remote controlled cars, drones, airplanes, and anything he got his hands on. He had an endless fascination with understanding how things work and seeing the world through different perspectives.
Thomas gave unconditional love to his family and friends, and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
