Thomas Patrick Woodworth "Woody"

Thomas P Woodworth age 79, born May 13, 1943 passed away Saturday  June 4, 2022 in his home in Griffith Indiana.  He was survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lou Ann and his daughters Dawn and Shannon.  His grandchildren Richie, Andrea, Nathan and Theo, his great grandchildren Lucy, Caleb and Jordan.

Tom was a proud Marine, loved hunting, fishing and just about anything outdoors.  In his free time  he was  flying/building/rebuilding RC planes.  He was a member of the Griffith Barnstormers and the Wheeler Sundowners. Most of his life was spent sailing, he also had a passion for riding horses, he went on a 50 mile ride to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  Tom was a faithful member of the Anderson First Church of God where he was a Sunday school teacher for the high school youth and was also a member of the Board at the Munster First Church of God.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road Highland, IN 46322. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, with Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:30 AM.
