With deepest sorrow, we share that Tiffany Chantel West, age 37, our cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, family member, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2021. She was unprepared to leave us, and still had many plans in place for life.
Those who knew Tiffany lost a shining light in their lives.
Tiffany will be missed every day by her beloved family, mother Angela West-Henke & stepdad Don; father Kirk West & stepmom Bea; sisters Alexandra & Kayla, step-siblings Jill, Jackie, TJ, Dana, Michelle, & Sara; loving grandparents Rand and Mary Foor, doting aunts Jennifer & Maranda, Godparents Randy & Dawna; dear companions Mini & Jason, and many good friends. Preceding her in death are the late Randall (Poppy) & Carolyn West, and great-grandparents Art & Mardie Foor.
Tiffany was in cheer, choir, and volleyball in grade school, and was on the dance and wrestling teams in high school. She had a talent for the arts and participated in many shows during high school. She was also a wonderful student, almost always earning A's. Tiffany earned a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting/Communications from Purdue and was nearing completion of her Master's Degree in secondary education from St. Joseph's College. She taught high school English in the last few years. She made many friends during her time as a bartender due to her compassionate nature and knack for listening to other's problems. She was generous with her time and resources for all her friends, family, and those in need. Tif was a true empath, to a fault, from a very young age (Tif's words!). She enjoyed music, concerts, dancing, reading, cooking, visiting museums, the Halloween season, and attending sporting events, especially the Blackhawks. She was a passionate animal lover of many feathered and furry friends, though her true love came in the form of dogs.
We feel in our hearts that Tiffany is now reunited with her fur-baby Knuckles and they are crossing the Rainbow Bridge together. We will love and miss our beautiful and vivacious girl so much.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tiffany's name to NAMI, the ASPCA, or to the family of Kirk West.
