Timothy Michael Barron

Timothy Michael Barron, age 69, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jan Barron, daughter Carlin Barron, granddaughter Cheyenne (Sequan) Valle, Brea Buchanan, great-grandchildren Jayce, Amiira, Angelo, Zaiden, and Zachari, brothers William "Jay" (Shelly) Barron, and Jeffrey "Scott" (Shannon) Barron, numerous nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Preceded in death by parents JD and Helen Barron.

Tim was born on July 30, 1956 in Gary, IN, and was a 1974 graduate of Boone Grove High School and went on proudly to serve our country in the US Army. On July 30, 1982, he married the love of his wife, Jan, and together they shared 43 years. Tim retired from Gary Fire Department with 33 years of service. 

He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, breakfast with family and friends, and the many Costco trips with his daughter. He also enjoyed watching old Westerns. He absolutely loved his career in EMS. Tim was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 pm.
