Timothy Kyle Brown

Timothy Kyle Brown, 47 years young, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, March 10, 2025.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lorraine Brown; siblings Kerri Huff, Kimberly (Ben) Quereau, and Kristy (Darin) Tebben; nephew Ethan and nieces Emily, Vivienne, Kaylee, Anna, Charlotte and Evelyn; and dear canine friend Pickles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Brown Jr. and sister Shelley Brown.

Tim was born March 28th, 1977 in Hammond, IN and resided in Highland. He attended Our Lady of Grace School where he was an alter boy and graduated from Highland High School in 1995. He went on to learning the building trade that his father had taught him during his teenage years. He built several homes in the area. He sincerely enjoyed his time serving on the Highland Fire Department where he met many friends and found the work truly rewarding. Tim moved to Florida for many years where he worked and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine before returning back to Highland in 2015. He worked for Broadway Glass.

Tim enjoyed using his building skills and talents to help family and friends with various projects or his niece to build amazing LEGO sets. He loved NASCAR and could be found pinned to the TV watching and cheering during a race. He also loved music and attending concerts. He never shied away from an engaging conversation and was never short on clever ideas. Tim was always there to help his family or a friend in need and He spent the last few years helping a special needs family member navigate difficult situations. He was a very loving and protective son and brother who will be sadly missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in our hearts and we will be comforted knowing he is free and at peace with Jesus and his father and sister in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a prayer service by Fr. Niblick to follow at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN, 46322.
