Vincent Hudak Obituary
Vincent M. Hudak, Jr., 82 of Highland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He is survived by his children, Cynthia Miller, Donna Hudak, Michael Hudak, David (Marcia) Venzke, and Jeanne Petty. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cassie (Charles) Ruttledge, Jaci Venzke, Deanna Venzke, David Venzke, Jamie (Justin) Daniel, Luke Petty, Ben (Joni) Petty, and great-grandchildren, Kaden Ruttledge, Alyssa Ruttledge, William Ruttledge, Grayson Epling, Colton Epling, Jillian Daniel, Jayden Daniel, Audrey Petty, Harland Petty, Hudson Petty and Hayze Petty and niece, Irma Faberardino, and nephew, Lucio Faberardino. He is also survived by his brothers, Clifford Hudak and Howard Hudak and his sister, Janine Hudak.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeoritta “Midge” Hudak, his brother, Jerry Hudak, his sister, Nancy Faberardino, his mother, Josephine Vazny, and his father, Vincent M. Hudak, Sr.
Vince was born on July 16, 1943 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He graduated in 1961 from Hammond Technical-Vocational High School. He started work immediately at Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company and was trained and worked as an electrician for over 40 years and ultimately retired from LTV Steel. He then worked for several years as an associate at Home Depot. Vince’s favorite past time was taking his boat out fishing on the lakes of Wisconsin. Vince and his wife, Midge, cherished their fishing trips, sharing stories, laughter, and sometimes quiet competition over who caught the biggest fish. He will also always be remembered for his beautiful yard and the lush grass that no one dared to walk on!
Vince will always be remembered as strong and loyal, and deeply loved, a great man, a great husband, and a great father. He will be deeply missed by his family and his friends.
