Walter "Wally" Sambor

Walter Sambor  (1940  -2021)

Peacefully passed on with his daughter Kristin at his side Tuesday, 5th October.  A loving father to his two daughters Kristin and Denise who cherish his memory.

Walter was a retired accountant, happy in the work he did.  He was also a keen fisherman and avid Alabama Crimson Tide football supporter.

He was a quiet man with a steadfast faith, rarely ruffled by life's troubles.  Content to live a simple life in Highland feeding the squirrels, reading the newspapers or going out for dinner, and his trips to Fishers & Vegas, he also enjoyed his occasional trips abroad.

He is much loved and will be much missed.

Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2021, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, DIRECTLY at  St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr, Dyer, IN 46311with a Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery.
