Wanda Jean Meeks
Obituary
Wanda Jean Meeks age 62, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence in Munster, IN.
She is survived by her brother, Gregory (Jan) Meeks; sister-in-law, Carol; seven nieces and nephews and longtime life partner, Ray Feigl.
Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lila Arlis (nee VonHaden) Meeks and older brother, James Meeks.
Wanda was born July 13, 1960 in Gary, IN and was a graduate of Edison Sr. High School in Lake Station, IN. Wanda had a long career in the transportation industry as a safety manager. She was known for her infectious laugh, sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the Riley Residence and Hillside Funeral Home for their loving care of Wanda which is greatly appreciated.
Their will be no public services. Wanda will be laid to rest alongside her parents in Ft. Meyers, FL.
