Wesley Tyson

Wesley Tyson, age 61, of Hammond, IN gained his wings on Thursday, January 16th, 2025.

He is survived by the love of his life, Cindy(Montgomery)Tyson; children, Michael Burns, Karissa (Joshua) Long, Vanissa Schellhammer, Jerami (Liv)O'Brien, Ashley Tyson, and James Burns; Multiple grandchildren, siblings, Lenora Reynolds, Robbie(Dana)Tyson, Brenda Tyson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Wes was called home after by parents, Ruby and Buddy Tyson, Sister Tina Tyson and Son Robert Tyson.

Wesley, as most of you known him as "Wes", was born July 31st, 1963 in Marlow, OK and was a 1982 graduate of Marlow High School. Wes was a hard worker and was employed with Fritz Enterprises. On September 29, 2010, he married the love of his life, Cindy Tyson, and together they shared 30 years settling in Hammond, IN.

He enjoyed living life to the fullest. He enjoyed camping, golfing, and the back road therapy riding his Harley.
If he wasn't enjoying life with an ice cold beer with his friends, listening to music. He enjoyed making memories with his grandkids being their 'Biggest Fan.' Wes was also into sports. He loved to support his Oklahoma Sooners.

Wes carried a heart of gold. Always had a hard time saying NO. But what stood out the most for Wes was his sense of humor. His jokes and laughter meant so much to so many people. Wes will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

A celebration of life for Wesley Tyson will be held at a later date.
