William "Bill" Vander Woude

William (Bill) Vander Woude – March 29, 1938 – August 29, 2021

Bill grew up in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago.  He graduated from Chicago Vocational High School and spent his career in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry, opening his own business – Lansing Preferred Heating and Cooling.  He was a member for many years at First Reformed Church of Lansing (now First Church).  He played basketball with the church, was a member of the choir, an avid bowler, and golfed occasionally.  In retirement, he moved to Marcellus, Michigan and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake from his front deck.

His family is planning a celebration of his life on Friday, September 24 from 3-7 pm at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN.   He touched many lives and will be sorely missed.
