William (Bud) Charles Horn, age 96, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
He is survived by his four children: William (Cyndi) Horn of Lowell, Richard (Marsha) Horn of Cedar Lake, Patricia (Bill) Kelly of the Villages, FL, Brian (Tracy) Horn of Trinity, FL, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Ann Marie (Bock) Horn, and by his parents Charles Horn and Mildred (Wallace) Horn.
Bud was born on June 27, 1928 in Hammond, Indiana. He graduated from Hammond Tech High School in 1946 and proudly served in the US Army. He worked for Standard Oil and later Argonne National Lab, a job that he took great pride in and truly enjoyed. He retired in 1990 and had many healthy years to enjoy traveling the United States, as well as spending time with family and friends. He was long time member or Our Lady of Grace parish in Highland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN 46322.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the chapel at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery 1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320.
