William C. Noojin Sr.

William C. Noojin Sr. of Dyer, formerly of Hammond was called home by his Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2021.  William leaves behind a devoted wife, “Karan” Sue Noojin of 52 years. He was a loving father to Michael Scott Noojin (Angie) of Melbourne, FL, William C. Noojin Jr. of Griffith, Kenneth R. Noojin (Michaela) of Indian Land, SC, and Heather L. Noojin (Kevin) of Dyer.  Proceeded in death by his brothers Donald Noojin, Rick Noojin, and Jeff Noojin.  He is survived by his brother Sam Noojin (Brenda), sister Brenda Noojin, and brother Michael Noojin. And a very proud grandfather to Michael, Ashley, Aiden, Katie, Tyson, Landon, Kaitlyn, Kamryan, Christopher, Jonathan, and Emersyn, as well as several nieces and nephews.

William served in the Navy, HS3 squadron, AW3 (air crewman).  He also received 3 associates degrees after his honorable discharge in 1971 during his 38 year automotive career at Ford Motor Company.  He loved golf with his work buddies from Ford, loved casino gambling in his early retirement years with his beloved wife, and chopping down trees for his self-made wood burner for the garage.  And he was very dearly loved by his family.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one south block of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN 46322 on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  Service will be at 2:00 pm with Pastor Art Burkman officiating.
