Yvonne Cecilia (Baltrus) Della Rocco

Yvonne Cecilia (Baltrus) Della Rocco, born August 9, 1943, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025 at Munster Community Hospital after battling several debilitating health issues. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Florence (Pavel) Baltrus, brother Richard Baltrus, and husband James P Della Rocco Jr. Yvonne is survived by three children, James J Della Rocco (Beth) of Indianapolis, Renee Downs (Glenn) of Munster and Robert Della Rocco of Munster. Yvonne was a grandmother to three grandchildren, Jacob Della Rocco, Devin Downs, and Anna Della Rocco.

Yvonne was a woman of conviction who loved being a mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN, 46322. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the St Thomas More Chapel, 8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321, on Monday July 21, 2025 at 10:00am.  (all times are Central). Burial to follow at St John/St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
