Yvonne Muffett Obituary
Yvonne Ruth Muffett, age 96, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Munster, Indiana passed away on March 20, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll D. Muffett, son, James W. Muffett, and brother William Longfellow.
She is survived by her son, Larry Muffett of New Port Richey, Florida; sister, LaVeda Meyers, Maggie Valley, NC; daughter-in-law, Ellen Muffett (late James) of Fort Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Adam Muffett (Stephanie) of Washington DC; Elizabeth Muffett (Nick) of Elmwood Park, IL; Andrew Muffett of Lafayette, IN; and five great-grandchildren, Clarabelle, Branch, Lydia, William, and Edward.
Friends are invited to meet with the family from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322. Reverend Bill Jones officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
